While history varies, all history textbooks say the same for one matter: the Prabile family is a threat to humankind. Due to their ability to reproduce at a rapid rate, the Prabiles are said to be a race. Charlotte Janelle Thompson is the daughter of the Mayor of Corview and is a senior at Corview High. When her parents go out for a date night, Charlie comes home to find the front door open. She believes that she is being robbed but she is in for much more than a mere robbery. In the kitchen, Charlie discovers a Prabile lying in wait for her to come home. After she is kidnapped to the place where the civilisation of Prabiles resides, Charlie learns that there is much more at stake than Homecoming. She must turn her back on everything she has ever known if she wants to remain alive. Added romance and other complications make things hard for Charlie to grasp. Will she fulfill her destiny and save her captors or will she fail and risk losing everything...
