Not the Golden Girl

Jameson McKiney cannot wait to graduate high school. She's ready to escape her deadbeat bad, painful past and present, and go to college with her best friend, Charlotte Gallery. Char is the glass half full to her empty, and James would do anything to make sure her rose-colored glasses never came off.

Senior year seemed like it would be just another year, until Charlotte meets the new kid- bad boy Reed Edwards. She's head over heels for him and it's definitely mutual. James doesn't mind being third wheel, unless it means spending any more time than necessary with the new football coach and gym teacher- and Reed's older brother- Zeke Edwards. He's not a fan of James, and is more than happy to remind her of that every chance he gets.

That's the least of James' concerns though, as it seems the Edwards boys have a past filled with demons. Normally it wouldn't matter, but if it could hurt Char, James will be the first to make sure that past stays dead and gone. Will the four of them make it through the year without James and Zeke coming to blows? Or is there something far more sinister to be worried about?
