Touya was a happy kid. He always dreamed of being a hero, but when he got his quirk, that changed. His father trained him hard, which let to the four year old never wanting to be a hero again. Skip 20 years into the future, and the optimistic, happy child became one of the most notorious villains in all of Japan.
This story follows the life of Touya Todoroki. A young inspiring hero, who eventually became a villain by the name of Dabi. It shows how he ended up being on such a different path than he seemed to follow as a child. It shows how the abuse from his very own father, the #1 hero, drove him down the darkest possible road a human could travel. Murder.

So I'm probably not going to get the answer I want from the Manga and this whole thing is a creation of my own on the 'lost years' of Touya Todoroki. This is him living on the streets before he becomes Dabi/BlueFlame, UP UNTIL THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS OF THE MANGA. And his life he creates for himself before he faces off with is father. -Slight spoilers but I kinda just breeze past them so unless you KNOW then you know- I personally think he's a redeemable character (AKA I'm simping so hard that I am justifying mass murder) and I really feel like we aren't going to dive into that whole messy business.
