"Rush" was originally a shorter story I wrote back in 2007. Back then, I wrote in a more clipped, glib style which worked for me at that time. Revisiting the work, though, I find myself looking for more exposition, more discovery, more roundness from my characters. I've decided to rewrite the entire work to make it longer, more explanatory, more insightful.
