PLAYLIST: by faith, hope and love

The "PLAYLIST Series" are compilations of contemporary short stories and novellas inspired by songs, featuring various genres as pop, rock, country, contemporary Christian music, original Pilipino music, and others. Most songs are recent, but some are old, and some are obscure. When a song causes my muse to whisper stories in my ear and move my fingers across the keyboard, they are sure to make in on PLAYLIST.

"To One More Light"--inspired by Linkin Park's "One More Light"--talks about hope, the kind that we need to get by in this discouraging and hurtful world. Follow Rafiq as he hopes for a simple and happy birthday. But with a family that's shrouded in disrepute, and constantly shaken by relational issues, will Rafiq really get his only wish on his birthday? Or will he find something he needs way more than what he is wishing for?
