A queen is what they are. Thousands of years of watching. Thousands of years of ruling. Being in pain, suffering, and countless constant assassination attempts. They're tired. So tired already to the point they wanted to die, they wanted to die...they just couldn't. Families and friends were all dying, they're just watching. Receiving all the pain and sufferings with a poker face, because they couldn't have emotions.

Their role is to be the ruler that cannot die, that couldn't die. They're meant to be the ultimate ruler. Until one night, high beings took pity on them, after they've been through so much, living in a way that many wouldn't think of, many wouldn't want.

Finally, they can live by dying. They can already have the peace that they wish for. The sufferings and pains are all done. Dying alone is sad, but that's all they asked for. Dying was their only and last wish they could've asked for.

❅| "Even a vastness can no longer shelter you... or engulf your dream." ⊱⋅ ──────────── ⋅⊰ [UNDER EDITING/REDRAFTING - latest chapter: 11] To a world seemingly shrouded in a cloak of safety and eternal peace, death is an unimaginable concept. Yet for those whose rule of life was mere survival, perhaps that's a different situation. For those who stood in the face of adversity, for those who refused to give in to the castigation of their lives, life has no sweetness to it. Merely the bitter tang of a blood-chilling revenge. To avenge a loved one or perhaps even their own pain, the murderous intent behind their deceitful eyes is unmistakable. For, to them, lamenting about the past is a life lost to the cruel hands of fate. - What happens when a woman as brilliant as the morning sun provides a haven in one's dreams? What happens when she, despite the agonies life carries, says to abandon everything right here and now and leave? Alcestis did not need to be told twice. Seizing the chance to escape the horrible clutches of her grandparents, she sets out to find the Elementals-a band of heroes protecting the human realm from those that lied beyond, headed by her parents. She knew of the darkness that festered within her; she knew of the hatred that danced in her heart. More than anything, she knew the extents of how fragmented her soul was. What, perhaps, would unfold when she sets out on her journey, leaving behind the world she knew; leaving behind what hopefulness remained in her battered heart? None would heed her an answer, indeed. None save for the rage that tainted her being.

Nothing in my life had ever made sense. They told me it was normal, I'd grow into who I was supposed to be, that things would get better; here I am now, going through the motions and wondering if this was really what I was destined to do for the rest of my life. Turns out, it wasn't. Nothing in my life had ever made sense but that was because my memories were fractured, pieces of a person I used to be, one I used to know lurking in the shadows of my dreams. I was just a normal guy trying to navigate the world but saying yes to everything and falling into the same monotony just wasn't cutting it anymore. I had a steady job, a pretty girl seemed interested in me and my 22nd birthday was coming up just before Christmas to give me something to look forward to. That all changed when I remembered her. I'd never forgotten her truly, blue was the only thing I knew and that Neptunian shade was so striking it stuck with me from the night she screamed at me in the rain but it wasn't until I found all the papers, the notes and crystals that I started to remember the world she lived in. One that wasn't my own and that had so much more to offer. It sounded crazy but I knew it was real and getting there, finding her and fixing the bridge that I'd unwittingly burned was going to be hard but I was ready to be more than a desk jockey typing my life away. I wanted to see the orange skies instead of the blue and find her sitting in a field of crystals again, staring at the stars.

This world is huge and beautiful. Yet, it also has so many mystery in it. Still, I hate this world. For me, it's just a full pile of trash. Thousands of fake words exist in this world. Not just this world, but also the other worlds. Including mine. Oh what a piece of trash. So many hypocrites exist in this unpredictable huge galaxy. Like those people who supported you, then stabbed you from the back. Those who smiled this second, then spit out their bad words towards you in the next second. Those who were with you this minute, then dumped you like you're nothing, until your distance with them was like the Earth and the Moon, in the next minute. Those who protected you this hour, then tried to destroy you in the next hour. So...trash. What is family? They're nothing but the annoying people whom always tied me up to follow whatever they said. It's like I'm their pet, instead of their daughter who wished to be free. What is friend? They're no more than those who used you, then dumped you when you're no longer needed in this world. It's all Hell. Hell I say. I don't need family! Nor friends! Or even love, or anything in this awful place. I just wanted to be alone. Alone and free. Yes, your eyes were not wrong! I'm so sick, that I wanted to be all by myself for the rest of my life. Yet, why...is it so painful..to see them go? ***** She is pretty. With her glowing silver hair, she looked like the Princess who was blessed by the Moonlight. Her skin is as white as snow, yet pale like the corpses. Her eyes...are as red as blood. She fell to our world along with the falling meteor. She saw the beautiful earth along with the downfall of her kingdom. And when she started to stand on her own feet, she could never say the word 'Mom' and 'Dad' anymore. Born in the darkness, she came to destroy the peaceful Earth, along with all the living beings in it. But as time passed, as she met new people, it all began to change.

A letter to the Queen; Perhaps in a different life we could be so much more than we are now. It hurts that I must keep my feelings hidden from you, but such is the life of a cursed goddess. Besides, you do not need romance in this very moment, you need support and friendship, all of which I am willing to give to you. But destiny seems to have a different idea. I hadn't intended to fall in love with you, after all, I have known you since you were shorter than my knee. If I had any idea that this day would come, I would've take precaution around you, because then, you wouldn't have fallen in love with me either. Do not worry Raven, I already know, that's how the curse goes. Its a two way street this wretched thing, and the only reason I am gasping for breath, clinging onto life by the tip of my fingers is because you finally admitted your feelings to yourself. I am sorry to put you through all of this pain, simply thinking about you hurting makes me hate myself, you do not deserve that. As my last wish, I want you to promise me that you will not mourn my passing, for I have lived a long and fulfilling life on this planet. Thanks to you, the recent years have been more joyful than I could've ever imagined. So please, do not waste your precious tears on me, this is what the gods have intended. I know you, and I know that you will try and prevent this from happening, but I've specifically requested for the guards to keep you inside the palace no matter what. I don't want you to see me like this, weak and vulnerable. My life is in forfeit, for falling in love is both a cure and a disease. Please remember me with a smile on your face, because you always looked so beautiful smiling at what you loved. I shall love you from now, until eternity, My Darling.
