Lucid dreams allow Joliette (Jolie)Dunsmore a glimpse into her previous life. They started shortly after a near-fatal accident and have only grown more vivid with every swallow of her anti-psychotic medication. Her therapist has diagnosed her with a personality disorder. She is treating Jolie with the intent to suppress all thoughts and dreams relating to her so-called past life.
Jolie derives information from her dreams to perform detective work while she's awake. She wants to uncover the truth about Sunshine, the girl she used to be, to not only prove her sanity, but reconnect with her last life and those she left behind.
