Gerard becomes one of Frank's main targets, but he surprises Frank by not fighting back. Instead he always gives him a sad smile through his glassy eyes and looks at him with pity. Gerard sees Frank as someone who has been mistreated and looked down upon in the past. Will he succeed in his goal to break Frank's outer shell of misfortune? There is only one way to find out..

He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble.
