Jeon Jungkook had suddenly left BTS for seemingly no reason, leaving ARMY, managers, and band mates shocked and wordless. Quickly they scrambled for a replacement due to popular demand that BTS should continue performing, and came up with Kwan Daejung, a trainee. Daejung was shunned by the other members viewing him as having forced their precious Golden Maknae out of the band, and disrespected and hated on by ARMY for not being able to measure up to the person he filled in for. Everybody seemed to have forgotten that he was human, and that he still had feelings. And that those feelings could also be the end of him.
(A/N: oml I'm so sorry Kookie, I swear I didn't choose this on purpose. I legit had to put all their names on a spinner and let it choose. It kept landing on Kookie, so.. please don't insult me and hate on this because I replaced Kookie, it wasn't my decision and for this book I had to replace somebody.)

He spends his days living for the adrenaline and burn that swimming gives him, pushing himself too hard, too far, all the time because all he wants is to forget, to repress the memories that try so hard every day to break through the thick walls he has put up to protect his fragile heart. Taehyung is a bright boy who makes friends everywhere he goes. He sees Jungkook in his class one day and can't help but be enamoured by him (not just for his muscles, of course). He sees the sadness in Jungkook's eyes, and decides that he will do anything he can to help the boy learn how to be happy again. But Jungkook doesn't want happiness. He wants his old friend back. Tired, that's how I felt all day. I love my work, my fans, my members.... But do they love me? I shouldn't wonder but I can't think of being appreciated. Everything I'm doing, everything I'm sacrificing, including my health, is not repaid with either the love of the Stay or the love of my members, my family.... Can I still consider them my family. Too much stress, too much work, too many expectations and no one to count on, how long can I continue like this? I just keep thinking that if I left, no one would miss me, not the Stay, not my members, not even my family... What keeps me alive is only the pain I feel every time I lock myself in the bathroom, when I see that red liquid running down my arm I feel free, nothing can make me feel something like them, not even food. What if I make it all stop? What if I leave forever? What if the voices in my head finally went away? What would people think of me? Maybe they would label me as "The idol too weak to bear some pain" but I would never know.... Maybe it's better this way, maybe eternal darkness is better than an eternity of pain.
