Asta and Noelle have been two rookies of the 'absolute worst Magic Knights Squad', the Black Bulls for almost a year, and during this time the two have learnt a lot about each other, be it during dangerous quests or piping barbecues at their base.
One thing that the rest of the squad have caught upon is the romantic tension sparking between the two lovebirds, and they were tired of waiting. 'We'll just do this ourselves!', said a certain delinquent of the Black Bulls.
[Takes place during the training arc (episode 129 onwards), the current arc in the anime as of 4/22/2020. This story may contain major spoilers from before then.]
