Hey. So this is my first story and yea I hope you guys like it (if anyone reads it at all) But thanks for reading I appreciate it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ New School, No Friends; typical high school. But it only takes one conversation, no matter what it's about. You get a friend; soon enough, you see this 'friend' in a different way. You're not used to feeling this way. What do you do? The only thing you know for sure: You're leaving anything sour behind, and you are beginning to focus on something sweet, like an orange.

As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
