CeCe Jones was a failure. A disappointment. A liar.

CeCe was in a funk. She didn't know what to do with her life. Rocky Blue, her best friend and dance partner, went off to college, leaving CeCe in the dust. She decided to take a year off of college, and that year turned into two, and three, and four. And on top of it all, she was fired from Shake It Up, Chicago! because corporate wanted new faces.

CeCe lied to her mother and Rocky about still working at SIU. In reality, she worked at Crusty's with Deuce Martinez, her new best friend. But there was no way she could tell Rocky or her mother now about SIU, so she went along with the lie for years. She didn't want them to be disappointed in her.

Just when she thought that life couldn't get any worse, Gunther Hessenheffer showed up at her apartment one snowy night. She couldn't remember the last time she had seen him, and he had changed a lot. But so had she.

These changes made it possible for these two broken people to become whole.

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. Soleil Dubois was the sweetest person you could ever meet. Her name meant 'sun' in French and that was exactly what she was. Sunshine. But don't let that sweet personality fool you because she was sarcastic and had the mouth of a sailor. Cursed like one too. She was still grieving from the loss of her mother, along with her older brother, Lucas who wasn't doing too well either, but they had decided that some things were meant to let go of, and their mother's death was one of those things. And in order for that to happen, they decided to sign up for an exchange program that would be happening in their rival school; NorthFields Academy. The school that most of their competitions were held against, but the biggest one was Football. Every semester, NorthFields Academy and SouthFields Academy played against eachother, and the one who got the most goals by the end of the year would win trophies, more fame and money. That's when Elias Morano came in. He was the captain of the football team of NorthFields Academy and despised Lucas with all his heart. Their feelings were mutual for eachother, but for some reason, his eyes were always on Soleil, the one girl that hated him as well. The one girl he couldn't have. Why her out of everyone? And feelings build up when Soleil goes to NorthFields Academy for a month and a half to complete the exchange program. What's worse is that those football games would be more often and both schools would be playing against eachother. The worst thing is that Elias and Soleil are assigned together for the program, meaning they have to spend more time together. Soleil soon realises that what she feels for Elias isn't hate, its something more than that. But she can't do anything, can she? He is her brother's rival after all.

IT is a one-sided love story, two people are caged in an unwanted marriage, for 3 years, good things change and their feelings, after they come to the end of it. "IT WILL CHANGE, IT WILL Set you free, it will set me free from this improbable pain" her tears were freely going down her cheek. Cenk came and pulled her from her arm to him, and their faces were inches. "I will not divorce you, Cemre, and don't even think about it," he said, looking coldly into her eyes. "You don't even want me! You don't even care about me, look at me!" she whimpered. "Yeah, I don't want you, and I definitely don't care about you, this marriage will never end, we are both stuck in it, PUT that in your thick mind, there is no running from this hell that you created "and he let her go and he took his jacket and went out, Cerme collapsed on the bed crying. "She recognized it at once: love, one-way deep adoration that bounced off and did not bounce back; careful, quiet love that didn't care and went on anyway." ― Celeste Ng, Everything I Never Told You
