I sat in the dirt. Too tired to move. I just sat and stared at a tree. The images of what I had just witnessed flashed before my eyes. No five year old should ever have to witness that. In the span of an hour I had lost my family. I could only assume daddy was in the same state as Alice and Claire.
And so I sat.
"Little wolf."
I looked around in surprise. I didn't see anyone, but I heard a voice.
"I will help you now."
I still had no idea where this voice was coming from. I could hear it as clear as day. Like someone was sitting right next to me and was talking to me.
"Wh-who are you?" I asked my empty surroundings.
"I am you, but stronger." The voice replied to me.
Stronger? I am not strong. I couldn't even help Alice or Claire or Daddy.
"I can save us." It was the last things the voice said to me. Then everything turned black.

I've been told by many that I can be a very indecisive person. But this, this is definitely not something that I had to ponder for long. My decision had been made. I think, deep down, from the moment I laid eyes on him I knew. I am rejecting the Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack.
Rejected at first sight
Beth white doesn't get treated fairly in her pack house, yes she's were wolf but when she turns 17 and gets the chance to find her mate and actually be happy. He rejects her, and she doesn't take it lightly. She runs off to find a new family and a second chance - "Mate." I mutter under my breath "No! no! no!" he complains "Why did I get you as a mate! your nothing but a helpless slave girl." he spits at me "No. You don't know who I am." I tell him "Yes I do your a slave." he bends down to me and crosses his arms "Yeah, sure I may be a slave. but I'm still a living, breathing, human being, I know that may be a surprise to you. but hey you have to live with it for the rest of your life."
