After a tragic accident in the town of Hawthorn, Jack was able to save his sister from an icy grave at the cost of submerging himself in the frigid water. But while he was deep in the frigid waters he looked threw the ice at clouds to see the moon looking down at him. After 300 years he would emerge from the frozen waters to a whole new world.
