Until her last mission in 1979 after she help to protect the a Carrier fleet and her other modern japanese ships such as JS Haruna & JS Hatsuyuki. She suffer heavy damage as she return from her mission on the Dragon's triangle amd later deactivated from service because it had outlived its useful life.
