Mages were thought to have been killed out by the Kingdom of Leonn, however the Drawind Empire and Kingdom of Leonn both found that to be incorrect. Mages had escaped the Great Mage Massacre. Both the Kingdom and the Empire had bad blood between them, now knowing there were mages around they wanted to abuse their magic to win a war. Enslaving the mages did not matter to them, but to Kody it did. As one of the remaining mages, he must hide himself. Learning to live without parents would be hard, but he thought he could do it. Will he survive, or be crushed by the weight of the impending war.
