A fossilized flower is found on Mars.

Avery Young is one of the millions of people on their way to Mars. With the suspected uninhabitability of the Earth in ten years time, she's one of many looking to get a head start to their life on its big red neighbour.

While helping with the construction efforts for a few quick bucks, she finds something that not only changes the course of her own life, but civilization as a whole.

For better or for worse, that's not up to her to decide.
