(6 years after Pokemon Platinum) The Maverick Hunter Trio, X, Zero and Axl, suddenly found themselves in a strange world with creatures called Pokemon after the sudden ambush from Lumine's corpse.

Now, after given their starter Pokemons by Professor Platinum, they begin their journey to search their way back home while trying to take down a new evil team called team Maverick lead by the resurrected Lumine along with avoiding other dangers in their journey and meeting old enemies along with allies.
