Gulf has been an obedient child ever since he was born. He can't simply shrug off his parents' will, especially his late grandfather's wish. When his grandfather's will came upon his capability, he immediately fulfilled it without second thoughts because he was obedient. He wants to fulfill the long-overdue agreement in both the Jongcheveevat and Traipipattanapong clan as unfortunate events keep occurring that prevented it from being fulfilled.
