The Grim Reaper makes fun of death. He laughs at it's sight. He lives for it. However, an agreement has been made, decades ago, between Grim and God. The agreement states that Grim would bring the criminals and the "unholy" to Hell but leave the good ones for God to bring up to Heaven, yet Grim manipulates and derides that agreement. As his punishment, he is sent down to Earth in a woman's body. And, within Grim's consequence, God hopes he will learn more about humanity by the most logical way possible- being around them.

Max tried, but he ended up getting drunk, marrying the girl in Vegas, and accidentally triggering a chain of events that could end with the destruction of the human race. This is a story about the Grim Reaper and the souls he delivers. The Grim Reaper delivers souls from earth to what most comprehend as the 'afterlife'. When there is the occasional resistance from unwilling souls, he'll retrieve an old memory or feeling of theirs and let them experience it again. It usually works to persuade them to leave the world - souls who had suicidal thoughts in the past, those who lost loved ones and didn't want to continue living without them, and those who did something wrong and felt huge crushing guilt. Until he met a soul who never felt like she wanted to die before.

Horror is an interesting person, and by far the most difficult genre to get ahold of. It took me forever to convince him to sit down and have an interview with me, and most of the questions he answered by physically showing me what he wanted me to feel from him. He made me mourn, he made me panic, he made me feel lonely, he intensified my fears. I almost feel sorry for him now, because he can't feel love, or compassion. Just...a cold and pale creature; strong, bloodthirsty. His eyes hold all of the pain hiding in this world. He made me curious, and I paid for that curiosity in full. He showed me the souls of fallen heroes, screaming in the dark. He showed me what it feels like to be helpless to a force I can't control. He wrote me a narrative to read. It's perfect writing material, if tamed correctly. Compilation of stuff I wrote in 2015-16. I was 13 or 14 years old at the time, so it's interesting to look back on it sometimes.
