Dawn of Fog and Glass

Those who expose themselves to the Fog for over an hour begin to change. Most devolve into mindless, bloodthirsty creatures known as Fog Crawlers. Some remain human. The others, the mostly-extinct Morphs, develop supernatural abilities and a scent that draws Crawlers from miles away.

Arden lives in one of the last standing high schools in North America. She is one of the lucky ones who didn't change.
Or so she thought.

Arden finds herself possessing abilities she never thought possible. She'd find it exciting, if not for the meaning behind it: the meaning that she is a Morph, and her new scent, undetectable by humans, will draw Fog Crawlers to her from miles away.

Government officers relocate her to a secret institution where she can privately develop her Morph abilities. But this institution is hiding secrets. Now Arden, along with her new friends and a mysterious boy at the institute, must find a way to escape. But time is ticking, and the institute won't let them go without a fight.

Now, with her heart torn, a war brewing between the government and her friends, and a bloodthirsty world of Crawlers standing in the way of Arden's freedom, she doesn't know who to trust-if anyone at all.
