The Mario bros. were saving Princess Peach, as she was kidnapped by Bowser, again. As always, Mario gets the recognition, and a kiss from the Princess, but Luigi has other thoughts about it. When he gets kissed right after Mario, it doesn't feel right. He doesn't feel... recognized. He feels like he's not really that needed. He keeps secrets from Mario, dark secrets. Luigi cares about his brother, the Princess, everyone.

Accompanying his brother on this rescue, he saw how ruthless he got when he went rescuing. After helping every Koopa on his way, including the one of the sons of the king, Luigi may find something he hasn't found or bothered to look for, and Bowser will learn sometimes being soft for other is the most masculine thing you can do.
