Newfound World, c. 1699: A phoenix nests on the roof of a house in a small colonial town, sending ripples throughout the community. Why is the phoenix here? Is she friend or foe? Heaven-sent or hell-bent? The town will grapple with the bird's presence in heated clashes of suppositions, superstitions and science.

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. He sees him, sees the outlines of his face and body in the moonlight. He feels him, feels the heat of his presence. He hears him, hears him breathe as his breath shallows and evens. He believes he can taste that breath. And he smells him. The most powerful sense, the scent. It is entirely encompassed by this tantalising boy and it shapes a memory in his head, the memory of this stranger being there where he was most alone, of him giving Charlie a piece of his mind, a chance at new beginnings, of the stranger giving him a presence beside him.
