When they’re born, every child is given a necklace that holds half of a uniquely shaped pendant. The other half of the necklace belongs their soul mate and when they meet, the necklaces shine bright. But the identity of them remains a secret until the child’s seventeenth birthday when the necklace is activated and they have a year to find their one true love.
So when Taylor has two months left until her eighteenth birthday and she still hasn’t found her soul mate, she’s aware that time is of the essence.
