A haunting has never been so complicated or fun. Vel Shamrock has never been normal and is definitely NOT lucky. She's the unforgiving, snarky ginger girl the whole school hates and whose own sister expects to go crazy-just like their mom. Vel is, in fact, going a little crazy-she must be because only crazy people wake up every night at the same time paralyzed as they watch themselves leave their body, unable to remember anything, right? Wrong, Vel isn't lucky enough to be going crazy. Instead, she's just unlucky enough to be haunting the new guy at school-the one she's falling for.
