Richie Tozier is Derry High's classified class clown, the epitome of 'all bark and no bite', and a hopeless romantic with a lax exterior. He spends all of his time trying to make his friends laugh, yelling "fuck the system!" to every 'old fart' who prefers same-species relationships only, and being hopelessly in love with his friend, Stan Uris. Of course, he's aware of Mr. Uris' strict rules, but he always hoped maybe, just maybe, Stan was feeling a little rebellious.

Stanley Uris has always had an issue with society's expectations of him. He always had to act elegant and collected, and find himself a suitable mate. Of his breed and of the opposite gender, of course. Inter-species relationships were considered taboo, and Mr. Uris lived and breathed those words. Hell, he barely let Stan go to public school with other sub-species. But, Stan always knew he would date who he loved. And, maybe, just maybe, he was feeling a little rebellious.
