When Isabell Blackburn's mother dies she goes back to her old hometown, Rosewood, to her troublesome father. She hates absolutely everything about this little town, including her father. All she wants to do is go back to the life she knew before her mom died. The only thing that keeps her company is the books that she reads, they transport her to a different yet wonderful place, far far away from the world she lives in. Along her journey in Rosewood she meets this boy that is absolutely cruel to her and she despises him at the start. However she learns that not only she despises things in Rosewood but so do all the townsfolk. The people of Rosewood fear a Beast that lurks through the woods. Will she to fear The Beast or learn to love him?
