"Listen Kenzy, I know I've been an ass and truthfully maybe you shouldn't even bother returning my calls. You're right, I've been nothing but awful since we met, driving you away yet desperate to keep you close" My heart clinches, but I dared not breathe. Too afraid to give in, too afraid that if I reach for the phone, I'll call. I'll call to make it right. I want to make it right, because this man affects me more than I ever thought he would. But it isn't right. I can't give myself false hope. "Please just talk to me, let me explain. It's not you.....it's me. I'm the asshole. You don't deserve this, you didn't. ..."
