Jaylyn, Julie, Colby, and Sam are just your normal teens trying to survive high school. They try their best to survive and concur high school together. In their free time, they explore abandoned buildings and hunt the paranormal. So they aren't that normal, but their lives are about to change. When Jaylyn does research on an abandoned factory, she finds out there is a secret area no one has been able to get into. She drags her friends to the factory and finds a key? They are able to enter the secret area and gain a power plus an element. They are trained to use their powers for good, but must be careful to not use their powers too much. They must help the world from monstrosities called destructors. Will they be able to push everything aside and help the world from destruction?

Twelve elements have to work together to help earth run properly however one or them is missing, and it's been 10 years since they were last seen leaving for a trip to earth. The partnered elements aren't allowed to go to earth if they haven't found their partner, and that happens to be what happened to the darkness element, Colby Brock. His partner is missing and him and all the other elements are on the hunt for him, not believing the rumours that he's dead. A single news article from earth sends hope into the eleven elements as a single beam of light appears on earth, saving it slightly from the constant darkness it lives in. Now more determined then ever the eleven friends go on a stronger hunt only to find out the remaining element may be a lot closer than they originally thought. The girls and the boys will fight to the death in the arena and watch every second of it. But the survivors journey doesn't end just yet, someone is trying to have all of the element to herself. In order to stay alive and off the killer's radar, Silas moves in with a doctor and an officer who helped save him, but as he spends time with them, Silas discovers a side to normal people that he's never gotten to see. " It's easy for Sam to become his own worst enemy and he often finds himself thinking and expecting the worst because it seems to be the easiest thing to believe in when he isn't true to himself.
