Elle is 15 years old. She was born into a normal-ish family and lives a satisfying life. When Elle's father takes up a job offer in Havenmoore, they whole family are forced to leave everything behind and move into the supposedly safe house. Then to everyone's surprise, someone breaks into their home, abducting Elle.
