" When I was young, I was raised with the stories of princes and princesses. How the princes would go and always rescue the princesses from high towers, clutches of dragons, and overbearing parents who didn't know how to sit back and relax.

While my mother read these stories to me from beside my bed, I would always look out the window at the stars that danced and twinkled in the sky.
I never wanted to be one of the girls who needed rescuing, I wanted to be the one who wouldn't need rescuing because I knew what was coming."

Dru Woods is a very difficult person. She showed up to the Snakeroot pact nearly dead and has since then taken over like that of a Thunderstorm who has yet to leave the land. As she grows under the care of the Pacts Alpa Fern she has become a strong, very independent individual with a past no one truly understands.

She is a former member of Conium which many call the cult pact in the Southwest. Conium grooms their wolfs to be the strongest of them all and to be ready to die in battle at the drop of a hat for their Alpha. But the Alpha had other plans for Dru.

This is a story of finding one's inner strength in trying times and possibly saving the world from its destruction while fighting off a mate who resembles Hercules and juggling other responsibilities all come at Dru in that in the form of an arrow.
