But then she meets Sans, and learns about the Underground. And him. He's a little lonely, being the beacon of hope in the Underground, but she knows what it's like to fake your way through just to keep others happy.

Lila and Sans quickly become friends, helping each other. Lila, listening to Sans be himself, and he keeping her hidden.
