Rintarou Hinata, Ema's adoptive Father, is saddened that he can't check up on his sweet Daughter and 13 Son's as often as he would like and calls his old friend Kana Sato who is a Stoic 24-year-old Teacher and asks if she could move to Sunrise Residence and look over Ema.  Kana accepts since she is isolated in her home and moves into the rowdy house, excited to live with Ema, who is like a Niece to her and thus becomes apart of the household and a teacher at Hinode Highschool.

Eyes and mouth frozen wide open I stood still in the street, white as chalk, and staring straight at the house I called home. There was no way in hell I wasn't dreaming. This wasn't real. I stood, unable to speak, totally stunned as thoughts bounced around inside my skull. My life was about to get a whole lot more complicated.
