Colony Negative by KurtWeller
42 parts Ongoing Mature
District Five has sent its best colonists it could find to Colony Negative: the planet all life spread across the universe had originated from. Colony Negative is now a playground for the other Districts to fight against, and for. Each District has its purpose to dominate the Colony, and each colonist within those districts has their own mission. Doctor Jacqueline Deveraux, biological anthropologist, is tasked with collecting data impertinent to the future on Colony Negative for District Five. After all, studying the past unlocks the potential that is their future. She wants peace across the Districts and all their colonies. In both its past and present, what she finds on Colony Negative will haunt everything she thought she knew. Damien Rok is an assassin for District Five. On the outside, he is tasked with protecting Doctor Deveraux when out in the field. In reality, he is tasked with assassinating targets on Colony Negative that pose a threat to District Five's power. What he finds on Colony Negative proves not every situation can be fixed with a pull of the trigger, especially when the crosshair falls on the unexpected. Both of them hate each other and what they mean to humanity. Yet, both of them have to rely heavily on each other to survive. It isn't just a free-for-all all amongst colonists, fighting in the name of dominance for their Districts. There is something else out there in the dark...something that suggests Colony Negative should have been left alone from the very beginning.

21 year old Victoria Moretti, is an assassin. She is an independent woman that doesn't rely on a man to do anything. She thinks they are a waste of time and that they are egotistical or thinks highly of themselves, that all they do is sit around waiting to be laid on. The only exception she has for men is if she needs to have relationships with them for her missions. Her hatred towards men began due to her trauma that was caused by her father who abused her mother, her, and her younger sister. Victoria always hated how her father would treat the girls in the house, she never truly understood why he did the things he did but she was always to scared to question it, scared that if she would say anything her father would have an outburst of rage from the sudden question. So she never said anything she kept her mouth closed until something would change her life in a positive or negative way. But one day after one of her missions her boss called her telling they have to have a little talk over some dinner. Reluctantly she had to accept it due to it being her boss. Her boss told her she's going to have a partner due to her next mission being a difficult one and you physically can't do it only with one person. Her partner being Tom Kaulitz. She was mad at her boss because she knew that he knew about her problems with men and her background with them, but her boss simply didn't care on what she has to say since he's the one making the change. - "𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒. Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.

Hey, you! Yeah, you. Listen up, dude, because I don't have much time. Actually, I have a ton of time, I just don't feel like repeating myself. South Park is infested with zombies. Yeah, you heard me right. Shuffling around, undead, want to eat you zombies. I'm stuck as some kind of leader of a tiny crew of kids. I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but everyone else seems to think I do, so I guess we're going with that. In a few days the whole town went from being kinda nuts to completely chaotic. Why do people think I'm a good leader? Why'd all the adults leave? Where's literally half of my grade, they can't all be dead, can they? Why are we not allowed to leave South Park? Do they want us die? How long can we keep on living like this? Most importantly, why couldn't I have just gone with Tweek to the stupid bathroom? Now he's M.I.A. and it's my fault. Anyway, I hope maybe you can find some pleasure in reading this. I mean, I would probably get bored, but whatever floats your boat, dude. Gotta run. Clyde's throwing another fit because someone ate his Hot Pocket (Spoiler Alert, it was me). See ya later, stranger. -Craig **NOTE: the story is not written as journal entries by Craig, I just thought it would be a fun little bit to put as the hook. Apologies if it is misleading.** **ALSO NOTE: the mature content warning is for language, and language only. Well, and I suppose gore and violence, but that depends on what you define as gore and violence**
