Innocent lives are on the line, and Agent Mab is losing her patience with her ongoing manhunt in Chicago. 13 months after the Green Poison outbreak. Everything was looking good for The Division. A majority of the factions have been dealt with, Black Tusk is slightly decreasing their operations, but are still considered a High Value Threat and civilians are finally able to come out of hiding and rebuild their homes. That is, until a rogue agent attacked 3 settlement safe areas and hospitals, killing multiple innocent people, SHD agents, and wounding around 258 more. Among the deceased was 2 of Mabeobja's close friends, and former squad mates

Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." When I'm asked about it, I often describe it as "X-Men meets The Walking Dead." In addition to reading it here for free, you can buy Exile in e-book or paperback on Amazon.com.

Kalia knows that only one person has truly understood her. The problem is that she freaking hates the guy. She's not alone in that, because he hates her as well. The feud between Kalia and Lorenzo wasn't always a feud. They weren't always at each other's throats. They're the only two who know this, though. Is it hate? Or a mutual violent obsession? The specifics don't matter to them. They want each other dead. But working together for years, knowing intimately how the other functions, it doesn't get them anywhere. It's hard to kill someone who knows your every move. They work well together, despite any and all ill-feelings. The job comes first. They were trained well. One mission they get assigned changes everything for them. Not only are they assigned to work together, but suddenly, the one sure thing in their lives - the system they were trained to trust - turns on them. What happens when they're targeted by the government they work for? It leaves them with no one to turn to but each other. They'll have to trust each other to survive. They have to put their hate for each other aside and focus on the real enemy. It doesn't take them long after they've put aside their differences to figure out that the feeling in their chest they mistook as loathing was love. ------------------------------------------------------------------- cover by @JaelynnMoore started: 5/23/2021. restarted: 01/03/2024 published: completed:

"Do your dreams generally revolve around fucking me on the bathroom counter," I ask, beginning to breathe heavier as he kisses down my neck and playfully pushes a tad forward with his hips. ******************* It's love but it's war. It's only been three years since her world flipped on its head. Where guns blazed, blood splattered and The Grim Reaper became a very close friend. If Siren and Reaper thought coming together was a challenge, they were utterly mistaken. The world around them, although not explicitly opposed to their love, challenges every ounce of dignity, humility, loyalty, courage and love they have within themselves as individuals. Their relationship hangs in the balance long before the real whirlwind of trouble comes sweeping in. With new friends and new enemies, old ones too, it is hard to keep on their feet and know who to trust. Especially in a business that thrives on double-crossing. Will love between the two be enough to soldier them through the war? Or do they need a miracle to save them? *********** SEQUEL TO SAPPHIRE (I did include a quick recap of SAPPHIRE)** ********* Highest ranks: 67| Fiction 3| Capetown 1| Joburg 46| Luxury 108| Medical 81| Heartache Genre: angst, smut, drama, action, romance, fluff WARNING: mentions of child abuse, sexual abuse, non-consent, rape, physical abuse, medical malpractice, drugs use, miscarriage, murder, torture, trafficking etc. This is an 18+ book with graphic sex and gore scenes. Colony Negative by KurtWeller
44 parts Ongoing Mature
District Five has sent its best colonists it could find to Colony Negative: the planet all life spread across the universe had originated from. Colony Negative is now a playground for the other Districts to fight against, and for. Each District has its purpose to dominate the Colony, and each colonist within those districts has their own mission. Doctor Jacqueline Deveraux, biological anthropologist, is tasked with collecting data impertinent to the future on Colony Negative for District Five. After all, studying the past unlocks the potential that is their future. She wants peace across the Districts and all their colonies. In both its past and present, what she finds on Colony Negative will haunt everything she thought she knew. Damien Rok is an assassin for District Five. On the outside, he is tasked with protecting Doctor Deveraux when out in the field. In reality, he is tasked with assassinating targets on Colony Negative that pose a threat to District Five's power. What he finds on Colony Negative proves not every situation can be fixed with a pull of the trigger, especially when the crosshair falls on the unexpected. Both of them hate each other and what they mean to humanity. Yet, both of them have to rely heavily on each other to survive. It isn't just a free-for-all all amongst colonists, fighting in the name of dominance for their Districts. There is something else out there in the dark...something that suggests Colony Negative should have been left alone from the very beginning.
