Matt was just an ordinary otaku , he lived a peaceful and ordinary life. He never stood out and was always slightly above average. 

One day , he got overtaken by rage and anger , because he found out that the person he considered his best friend was fake all along and never cared for him in the slightest. Consumed by the anger and feeling of betrayal and due to his carelessness , he got hit by a truck.

He wasn't the only one who died at the scene. A teenage girl around his age tried to save Matt as he crossed the road , unfortunately she didn't manage to help him , causing both of them to die in the process.

Matt died at the scene together with the girl and reincarnated inside of the manhwa that he read just the other day.  The problem is that he didn't reincarnate as a love interest , some side character or just generally someone that wouldn't put his life danger , but the main villain himself.
