One day, the Potter's found themselves in the safe house with their 2 children. The eldest, was a 3 year old toddler named Delilah Rose Potter. She was playing with her abilities as she had just learned that she was a metamorphmagus, switching her hair colour from pink to blue and on. The younger sibling was a 1 year old named Harry James Potter, he was just staring at his sister change her hair colour while making funny faces. This was a happy moment for all of them, despite the war that was going on, the Potter's still enjoyed the littñe moments they got to be happy and at peace, none of the would have guessed that that would be the last moment of peace together. The playtime was interrupted by a loud crash that was heard downstairs. Harry and Delilah got scared by the sudden sound and started crying.

It was a cold an stormy night, the weather outside was grey and ominous with a tinge of something peculiar in the air; something was bound to happen on a night like this. But the people inside the house were oblivious to the troubled weather outside. A man in his early twenties was conjuring up puffs of colored smoke for the enjoyment of two babies on the couch, his wife was standing in the doorway watching her husband play with their children, and if one took a good look at them you would never guess that their lives were being threatened. A low rumbling brought the mother back to the present; she walked over to her husband and took one of the twins in her arms, a baby boy with jade green eyes and a tuft of black hair. He giggled as his mother nuzzled his neck. "James, I'm going to put Harry and Hailey to bed now," she said as she took the small girl into her arms too, she was heading up the stairs when she heard the front gate creek, she stopped for a moment to listen then shrugged it off.
