Attraction to trouble : a Vicky Durocher PI story in Quebec City.  

French Canadian PI Vicky Durocher is on the look out for Sandy Love, an exotic dancer tangled in a dangerous situation with her cold hearted boss Jack Chevalier.  While dirty music band members are squatting her apartment, and with the help of a mysterious man rescuing her from tricky situations, Vicky does not hesitate to plunge head first into trouble.

Vicky Durocher has a gift: always finding herself in the middle of trouble.  It was fun, until someone got hurt.   It happened the day her childhood friend disappeared with a violent man.
Years later, having become a private eye in Quebec City, Vicky is approached by the members of the band M for Metal to find Sandrine Plamondon (alias Sandy Love), an exotic dancer at the Red Mill strip club. Vicky discovers that the woman is at the mercy of her cold hearted boss Jack Chevalier.
Throughout her investigation, the detective is convinced that the dancer is getting involved in a very dangerous situation.  When Sandrine disappears, and second dancer is held against her will by men linked to Chevalier,  Vicky jumps into danger by going after them.
