Life is unpredictable and Death is inevitable. People take life for granted. They never truly understand its importance, they are never able to grasp its true meaning before it has slipped through their fingers like fine grains of sand.

Well, Willow's life certainly felt like that. It slipped right through her fingers in an instant.

Being reborn as the daughter of Pian Dao, the master swordsman, around the start of the events in Avatar the Last Airbender was definitely something she didn't expect from her afterlife.
 
Being given a second chance at life, without knowing why certainly didn't make it any easier, especially when meddlesome spirits are involved.


Although she learned one thing; Life's a bitch and then you die.

There is an old folklore about the Children of the Forest. They were mortal spirits who were the First Benders with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and travelled the spirit and human realm freely. Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know. A Zuko X Reader story. As always, I wrote this for myself but you can read it, too, if you'd like. Y/N was an air bender, she was tasked with watching over the avatar as a punishment for something that she had done; something that the air nomads frowned upon her for. When she discovered what had become of her people, she was furious- but not at the Fire Nation, she was furious at Aang, because Aang was supposed to protect them, and he didn't. But was it Aang that she was really angry at?

COMPLETED! 'Aya's my angel and I'm never letting her go.' After seeing Azula strike Aang with her lightening, Aya's entire world fell into a black hole. She thought she lost her Avatar, her Aang, but after a miracle happened, Aang was brought back and she felt whole again. The whole world believes that the Avatar is gone and the Fire Nation has conquered Ba Sing Se, but thanks to Aya he is alive. Aya has discovered her true Fire Angel power and has full control over it, along with getting her Fire Wings. Ruka has finally found her long lost daughter and they were reunited after years of being apart. Aya felt joy and relief when she hugged her mother for the first time. Team Avatar has set foot in Fire Nation territory and are in disguise as typical Fire Nation citizens so they can put the invasion plan in action when the solar eclipse arrives. The team has to stay hidden incase someone sees Aang's arrows or Aya's wings. It won't be easy, but things have never been easy for Team Avatar. Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending. After almost a year of traveling, fighting, friendship, love, anger, and heartbreak it's time for Team Avatar to save the world and bring peace back to it. When he was eleven, the Fire Nation raided the Southern Water Tribe, which resulted in his mother's death and his capture, which left his family in agony after losing their mother and older brother. However, three years later, Kaito who was Fourteen unexpectedly returned to the Southern Water Tribe, which left everyone stunned for a bit before welcoming him back. When his family asked what happened to him, he would always avoid answering the questions or just ignore them altogether. He took part in the war with his father and for the past two years had developed not just his water-bending abilities, but also his combat capabilities to the fullest. Before returning home on the order of his father, and traveling to parts of the world, learning different skills. He gained a terrifying reputation under the fire nation that was known to the entire world. The Dragon of the South.
