A lab experiment sends a man to space in order to study a star, but terrible things happen to him. He becomes two. One half dead, one half robot; two different entities but they're still this young man. One is sent to a distant planet to be abandoned, the other form, an AI, is trapped in a simulation created by the government. Things don't go as planned and the AI is sent as well; because he soon grows to evolve dangerously. Soon, the young man boards a ship heading back to earth and the AI is left on the planet instead. The star conceals a very intelligent being who creates a world for the AI to be safe in, immobile, unawake. The world believes this piece of evolution is gone until he wakes up.
The star has many plans for him. It's up to him if he wants to pursue these plans or stay abandoned forever.
