» Legends have always been treasured by those within the world of Pokémon. Whether the legends themselves are stories of bold heroes or powerful Pokémon with the strength to move mountains and create life itself, they shape the world in which humans and Pokémon thrive together. Without legends, the world surely would not be the same.

» Kalos is no exception to that standard. Stories spoken of Pokémon with the ability to bring both life and death itself had been shared orally for generations, eventually being written down to be remembered for as long as time went on. Whether those legends are really true or not is debatable. Unlike other regions, Kalos' legends had not revealed themselves to mankind for well over thousands of years.
