Joanna just turned twelve when she was sent up into the Maze. She like all the others was sent up in the box, and could only remember her name. But when she arrived, no one else was there.
This story takes place about 4 years before the Maze runner, and Joanna is the first Glader. This story will have a elements from both movie and book along with a few elements of my own.
Take notice I am not James Dashner and do not own The Maze Runner series and it's characters. I only own Joanna and a few other characters I'll put into the story. Thank you and happy reading.

That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time.
