All Alyssa has ever wanted is to forget about her father. Their relationship had always been patchy. At the best of times, they'd talk here and there, but at the worst of times her gleaming blue eyes were a constant reminder of him. Looking into his eyes would've been like looking in a mirror. She was like a carbon copy of him. A living reminder of whose she was. Desperate to erase her father from her memory, the last thing Alyssa needed was to have him show up at her house in the middle of the night, and so when that is exactly what he did, she was apprehensive. As time passed Alyssa learns to trust him again. But he has a secret. One that will keep them apart forever.
