The Fire Nation has become invincible.
During the reigns of Fire Lords Sozin and Azulon, the airbending, waterbending, and earthbending Avatars of the Avatar Cycle have been killed. With a Fire Nation Avatar on the way, Prince Ozai has plans of overthrowing his brother and father to become the next Fire Lord and use the firebending Avatar to conquer the entire world. Everything changes when the new Avatar turns out to be Ozai's biggest disappointment: his own son.
DISCLAIMER: I am not the first person to write an "Avatar Zuko" type of fanfic, but the story, plot, original characters, and "new" world are created by me and are entirely my own creations (other than the pre-existing Avatar concepts, of course.)

Long ago, the four nations lived in a state of separation. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation began their quest of uniting the world.
Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, stood in the way of the Fire Nation's goals. But when the Fire Lord feared him most, he was killed.
A hundred years have passed and now the airbending, waterbending, and earthbending Avatar's have been killed. Now, a firebending Avatar has been born into the cycle.
With the help of the new Avatar, the Fire Nation will achieve victory and rid the world of the four nations and unite the world in flames.

Every day of her life Azula has strived to prove to her Father that someday she will be the one to lead the Fire Nation, a goal that she will allow no one to get in the way of...or so she thought. This story takes place after the war has settled. Aang and Katara finally together, Zuko the firelord, Sokka being,...well Sokka, Toph happy and never to return home, and the nations were finally at peace. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation. However, feelings start to make themselves known. Feelings that Aang doesn't like, little does he know he ends up pushing Katara into the arms of the edgy firebender, which was the last thing he was trying to do. Will this new romantic relationship tear team Avatar apart? Will it make them stronger? Will Katara's new found heated relationship be accepted by her tribe? Can the group move past it, and continue on? Will Aang ever get over Katara and find someone new? Knowing it's never easy ridding the feeling of that first love. He travels the world for four years searching for the Avatar; the world's last hope for peace.
