⚠️WARNING⚠️ CONTAINS VIOLENCE MENTAL ILLNESS SUICIDAL THOUGHTS ATTEMPTS OF SUICIDE IF UNCOMFORTABLE PLEASE DONT READ This is a YA novel that I'm working on that is set in 4025. The government thought that having everyone be the same could end all chaos. Every citizen in the United States are required to take a pill that lets the government take control. This started caused genetic mutations on the younger generation. Catherine (Cathie) never took the pill, at least from what she remembers. She's just an ordinary sophomore girl trying to survive in this new bland world, but she has one big problem that can get her killed. Her eyes change color by her mood and she hasn't been able to control it, so she hides behind a bandanna. But how long can she hide that way? While on the run she meets The Rebels, a group of teenagers that are trying to put an end to the government, and joins them on their mission to abolish the government and change the ways of their country. While doing so, like a normal teen, she falls in love with the very girl who first saved her and starts to feel like a normal teenager. But what about her family? Can she save them? Can they complete their goal in destroying the government's moral? Will she be able to ever get the chances of a normal teenage life? Is she willing to sacrifice herself for love? Or, will love be the one to kill her?

Lottie to Alyssa, page 3 Alyssa Bowen, the one and only out-of-the-closet band girl, with some surprises in store. "It's not that hard to have gay band friends--no one's straight there!" Alyssa, page 4 Kevin Trudeau, that one guy that will kick Lottie's ass for Alyssa to date him. But Lottie's gonna fight him if he plans on touching her(his P.O.V. shows up twice in the whole book)"She will be mine!" Kevin, page 5 High school sucks. But when you throw in a couple hundred homophobic high school students, mean girls, friendly cheerleaders, football bitches, a few band friends, gay best friend, a secretive ally on the football team, a guy with a crush on you who's a total ass, your two oldest brothers that are totally not like everyone thinks but support LBGT+, homophobic parents, a pansexual brother standing by your side and a homo-hating vice principal?
