Lily never knew what "normal" was. She was born with long, pointy ears, round, almost glowing eyes, and could speak to creatures or coax a wilting plant to grow. She never grew cold, no matter how little she wore, or even in the biggest snowstorms. The other children threw rocks at her and called her names. She was shunned by her village and barely made it through her childhood. Until one day, on her seventeenth birthday, she simply stopped ageing. She left her life in the village and went to live in the woods that very day, where Lily found peace at last. But even this long-deserved happiness fades, to be replaced with danger and uncertainty when Lily meets an elf in the forest. She finally finds the chilling truth about herself; she was a hybrid ice and wood elf. But before shock or confusion could register in her mind, she is dragged off to Elvicia, Land of the Elves. In a mere few days, she learns that it is on the verge of perishing forever, and only she and a few others could help save it. Will Lily be able to bring back the Elves and their homeland? Or will she succumb to the seduction of the monster terrorizing it?
