Jamison, an anguis(snake)/human hybrid spent his entire life in a lab and went through more pain and suffering then anyone should. The only thing that had kept him going was his best friend Angel, a cattus(cat)/human hybrid.
When they're finally free, along with a few other hybrids, and thrown into the normal world, it takes them some time to adjust. But now that they aren't under constant torture, they're brotherly bond seems to be growing into something more.
