Without Choice

What if Katara and Sokka had traveled to the North before meeting Aang? Paku reunites with Katara's grandmother and agree to train her, Sokka climbs the ranks of the north tribe becomes engaged to Yue. The North agrees to begin fighting and helps rebuilding the south. Then the north Falls in a bloody invasion, Yue is taken captive. Sokka and Katara are taken to the Fire nation as a deal to avoid the destruction of the south. In a political move Katara becomes engaged to the disgraced prince Zuko. Now they must navigate the court life while hanging on to their identity.
