Allie is just a small town horse girl going to a big high school. She is a sophomore (16) who attends Skyview High School. She is used to only having one friend, Cara. Cara has been her best friend since the third grade. She's not a fan of school, but she passes every class with an A. Her family owns a ranch just a few miles outside of Billings, Montana. Allie's family has many horses and livestock. But, she herself, owns a horse, Bentley. She is used to a daily routine of waking up, going to school, heading home, riding Bentley, doing any homework she has, and then going to sleep just to start the next day all over again. Allie has stuck to this routine for a few years now. But, it all changes when a new neighbor moves in next to Allie's ranch.

**Book 2 in the Coda Paxton Series** From the very moment I met Oakley Meisner, I knew my life was going to change, big time. As if my world wasn't messy enough already, she whirled in like a hurricane and turned everything upside down. I have a lot to thank that girl for, though. She introduced me to my best friend and got me into roping; the sport I grew to love. And, as much as I hate it, I have to credit her for giving me the confidence to believe in myself and stand up for what's right. If there's one good thing to be said about Oakley, it's that she was relentless in forcing me to stand up, dust myself off, and get right back on with life.
