An Extraordinary Life
My fifty years of good or bad heartfelt life experiences written in honest, bold and direct expressions. I believe my purpose and mission are to live a passionate life and share my interesting story with the world to inspire and touch people in many ways. I took two years to write and two years to revise and edit it with the help of my third child and two professional editors. After being turned down and advised by hundred of publishers to turn my story into a novel. I kept trying but couldn't do it as it is not in me. So until last September my very special new family doctor agreed to be my first reader and gave me good comments with excitement, I decided to self publish it with the help of my youngest child. I hope to grow as a writer, and be able to share more stories with you all. During the ten years wait, I have moved out from the unsafe home and living a wonderful and happy life that I am ready to write and share my An Extraordinary Life and it continues with you all. Letting go is so easy for some but not for me. I don't know but my heart is just so stubborn. I don't easily give up. It takes me a very long time to let go. My eyes can always see the other side of the story. A flicker of light in the candle gives me hope for a better future. But that was changed that Sunday afternoon when I communicated with him the feelings I've been holding on...the hurt that caused me so much pain that seemed to rip off my heart again and again. I've tried to hold his hands, but to my surprise, it felt cold. I knew that there was something missing. Well, perhaps the pain was so strong that my love was overshadowed by it. It saddened me to know that I felt that way. But I'd never been so true to my feelings before. I just don't know. I could justify everything that was out of standard but not that time. Ending any relationship is really hard and devastating. I couldn't believe that I was thinking that way that time. Fear engulfed my heart. There were many "what ifs" in mind. And the thing was I didn't have the courage to say goodbye. It would be just fine if I'd be the one being left behind. I never saw myself saying goodbye. It was true that I've been so hard on myself. I'd been thinking of the feelings of others more than mine. My heart couldn't contain the feeling of hurting someone. In my mind, I knew that I should be kind to myself that time. I should give myself a chance to move on and grow...to be happy. For that one time, I wanted to decide for myself. I wanted to be true to my feelings. I am Faith and this is my story... Uncertain Love
God is Good. I always wished I could be creative. Now I've prayed for it. Let's see what my God can do through me. When I was younger, I wanted to be an author, the kind who makes your heart pound because you don't know what's coming next. I used to start stories and never finish them. One day, a boy named Justin read one and said it was really good. I was seventeen-boy-crazy, wild, shipped off to Job Corps because I was "a problem." I'd written his last name on my hand. At the time, I didn't know why. Now I see: God was preparing me, even then. Because He knew when I'd wake up. He told me I was chosen from the beginning. And now the dots connect, because He owns my future. Because He lives. What if I told you that you could be saved too? This book is my journey of waking up to His goodness-one post, one prayer, one revelation at a time. It's about revival, motherhood, and Love. That sometimes feels uncertain, even though it's Certain that He loves us. (I am constantly editing, and prior chapters may be edited and whole new chapters may be added towards the beginning as I write)
Destiny And Its Complications
In life, we go through life searching for our purpose or destiny. We try different things, explore different paths, and follow our passions, hoping that our destiny will reveal itself to us. But the truth is, destiny is not something that can be found, it is something that is created by our own choices and actions. We may have an idea of what our destiny should be, based on societal expectations or our desires, but it is important to remember that our destiny is not set in stone. It can change and evolve as we grow and learn. What is meant for us may not always be what we expect, and that is okay. Discovering our destiny is often intertwined with finding real love. To know what real love is, we must first understand that it is not just a romanticized concept portrayed in movies and books. Real love is not about grand gestures or constant passion, it is about commitment, understanding, caring, and support. It is important to love oneself first before seeking love from others. When we have a strong sense of self-love and self-worth, it becomes easier to recognize and accept what real love really is. Real love is not about changing ourselves to fit someone else's expectations, it is about finding someone who loves us for who we are and supports us in our journey towards fulfilling our destiny. It is more about accepting someone's flaws and imperfections. However, real love is not always easy to find. It takes patience and understanding to build a strong and healthy relationship. It requires open communication, trust, and the willingness to work through challenges together.Concluída
Forsaken Innocence
I have had dreams. Well, who doesn't. May be mine shall appear simple and petty to others. Yet they were mine to cherish. I want to do well for myself and make my life worth living. Like any woman, I wished to have a family with a loving husband and cute children. A fulfilled life amidst love and care of family & friends. I am clumsy but never scared to take a leap. You can term me as ordinary but I dared to aim for extra ordinary. Heartbreak is a risk but I forbid to wrap my heart in an ice cage to protect it. One need to live life fulled to make your death valuable. People often term me as naive. Am I? Perhaps but I never cared. I loved myself and my near & dear ones. Yet it took one incident to turn my life upside down. A moment I was blooming and next I am thrown out in dirt. What was my mistake? That I took enough courage to wish a life with the man I love with my heart. Is it too much to ask for an ordinary woman? I was stripped of my dignity. Portrayed my persona as gore. Colors were taken away from me, so were my dreams. My friends and love could do nothing but gaze me with pity. I tried to make peace with my fate and resort to a life of disappointment. Atleast, I had my family. But then I realised that residue of cruelty was still left inside me. It threatened to poison whatever I hold precious to me. I realised that it is my time to stand tall and fight. I was not their first victim neither will I be their last. Mayhap if I sought justice, then it shall save a future victim.
