//"Are you ready?" Titanium breathed out.

I wasn't sure what he was implying I was ready for and before I could string together a sentence to ask him what he meant, his hand snaked around my waist and he held me tight, close to his chest.

Titanium scooped me up as though I was as light as a feather and rocketed into the sky. I let out a high pitched squeal, my adrenaline pumping. My emotions were a mix of excitement and fear.

He wrapped his wings around us and started to spin around really fast making me slightly dizzy. He continued to twirl, slowing down and I noticed the symbols on his wings begin to glow creating a halo around us, like he'd accomplished something.

He started to loosen his wings grip around us as he started his journey down to the seemingly awaiting crowd.//

<When her past is suddenly revealed, Grey must navigate her way through this new unchartered territory and fight to reclaim her rightful home.>

Wren's life is about to change forever - but not how she expects it to. Kidnapped on her wedding day, she finds herself trapped in a mountain cave, unable to return home with no company outside of the inhuman creature that took her. *** "Wait, Wren! Not that way!" It was darker here and panic limited her vision, but she could see it reaching for her; its wings like two huge looming shadows behind it. "Get away! Don't touch me! No, let me go!" She shrieked. She screamed in earnest as a hand took hold of her arm, and then even more when her own hand reached for something to hang onto and grasped at empty air. She had been scrambling towards a sudden drop! The hands hauled her back, but she still struggled. She didn't want to look at it, and she still wasn't sure she wouldn't rather take her chances with the open air instead. "Stop it, I'm not going to hurt you! You'll hit your head on the rock or something. Wren, please!" It knew her name. Somehow it knew her. She was going to die! "Let me go! Stop touching me!" She was sitting on the rocky floor now with her back against an uneven wall, and it was trying to pin her down and hold her still. She kept her eyes turned away and struggled helplessly, but it was no use. It was strong like a human man too, and she couldn't keep it off of her. The wings had moved until they curved around them both and shut out a lot of the light. Its face was so near hers that she could feel its breath brushing against her skin. "Please just look at me for a second. Just look. I'm not going to hurt you." One of the hands grabbed her chin and forced her head to turn, and then she was looking straight into a pair of dark brown eyes. It had a human face too. She had been expecting something monstrous or ghastly, and the surprise made her falter for a moment. He looked young, with a bad haircut and an earnest expression on his face. "I'll let go of you, okay? Just don't lunge around like that anymore, you'll get hurt." He whispered.

END OF AERA'S POV: The crowd was surrounded by them as I watched their performance and two performers Caught my eye one was yeon and the other was his friend.I should be honest, I couldn't help but I stared intently at Yeon because of his striking aesthetic looks. His appearance was so attractive to me that I could not take my eyes off of him. His guitar playing was incredibly smooth and the way the wind blew his hair made him even more stunning. I wouldn't resist commenting on how captivating his eyes were, his smile was breathtaking, like the sun rising in the morning as they draw everyone in. unknowingly, I said yeon looked mesmerizing. Yuen asked- "what did u mean, who is mesmerizing?" I unconsciously said - Yeon.when I realized what I have said I felt extremely embarrassed as yuen gave me a look that made me think she believed I had developed feelings for him after hearing what I had said.I couldn't help but feel my cheeks flush with heat as I realized what I had just said. BOOK 2 'We were both breathing heavily and there was silence throughout the crowd. No cheering, no booing - not even a whisper. Finally, when I felt Jenny's hand on my back, I had an overwhelming sense of fatigue. My vision was clouded in black spots, and I could tell Nova was struggling too, because she spread her paws, shaking her head and squeezing her eyes shut. Then, she stumbled to the ground, causing an abrupt roar of cheering on my side of the fans. "You have alot to learn, little one." I growled softly as I passed her, supported by Jenny and James. "That was wicked, Shadow. You should do that all the time, the way you.." James drones on about how awesome the battle was, though I stopped listening when he tried to act out the scene, and I just nodded as if I understood everything he was saying. "Where do you need to go? You're pretty cut up." Jenny murmured, stroking my fur as I padded slowly down to the Black Lake. "I need to hunt." I muttered weakly.' ------------------------------------------------------ Shadow Claw is in her second year of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and strange mishaps begin to happen. Until the day they arrived, from the shadows and as old as our known universe, we battled with all we had to contain this dark and mysterious life form. Our kingdom was about to fall. Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. "Yes, however, this mission did not require your presence nor your opinion," he replies candidly. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. "After I kissed you," he finishes for me, the silence following the words adds to the thickness growing in the air. _____ Wrongly accused of being a rebel conspiring against supernatural beings, whom she never thought existed outside of her world of anime fiction, a nightmare plagued Lyla becomes a wanted fugitive. she and her two young children are forced into hiding in a foreign yet beautiful world thousands of galaxies away from Earth to escape her death sentence.
